Bengaluru first · Founding cohort open
Zomato, District and Dineout chase bars and chains with the same time-based discount. Nobody built a surface for the twelve-table café on a side street in Indiranagar. Cafeccino is that surface — a feed cafés post to and people like and comment on, work-friendly seat booking, and one honest dine-in offer per café.
₹0 for the first six months No commission on your discounts, ever iOS and Android

Why this does not exist yet
A discount platform optimises for a table turning tonight. A café lives on the same fifteen people coming back on a Wednesday afternoon.
A café's day has a shape — croissants at eleven, a dead 3pm, an open mic at seven. A static listing page cannot carry any of it.
50% off worked for restaurants until it did not. A twelve-table café cannot buy footfall at that price, and will not trust a platform that asks.
The home screen
Cafés post activities, events, gatherings and offers. People like them, comment on them, save and share them — the same shape as an Instagram feed, so nobody has to be taught how to use it. The difference is that every post here expires, and the café is in the comments answering.
Fourteen live posts, scroll sideways. Hearts and bookmarks work — tap one. Placeholder cafés — the names go real the day the founding cohort signs.

Cafés post activities, events, gatherings and offers. You like them, comment on them, save them and share them — except every post here carries an expiry, so the feed is never a wall of old marketing. Tap a comment icon to open the thread.
One engine, four booking types
Date, time, party size, table type. Seating preference as a request. Birthday and anniversary flags the café can actually do something about. Free to book, held fifteen minutes, waitlist if full.
The café sets the hours and the seat count. ₹99 for three hours, redeemable against food and drink. Plug point and quiet zone as preferences. Extend in-app if a desk is still free.
Open mic, listening session, latte art throwdown. Early bird and at-the-door tiers, group booking, QR ticket scanned at the door, waitlist when sold out, refund policy set per event.
The high-value line. Birthdays, book launches, team offsites, shoots. Packages with capacity, minimum spend and hourly rate. Enquiry, quote, counter-offer, deposit, chat thread, written terms.
One booking table with a type discriminator and one shared availability resolver. Inventory minus confirmed bookings minus blocks, against turn time, with a row lock on confirm. Fork it per type and it drifts until it double-books somebody.
For the person behind the counter
You are not going to sit at a laptop to run this. It is a phone in an apron pocket, between orders.
Framing guides, auto-crop to the right ratios, brightness and straightening correction, and a short guide on what a good café photo looks like. Menu goes up as a photo and gets OCR'd so it is searchable.
Pick a template, add a photo, set 2 hours / today / this weekend. Preview exactly as a customer sees it. Repeat last week's open mic in one tap.
At 15% off, twenty redemptions this week costs you roughly ₹1,140. Caps per person and per day so you never get hammered. Pause instantly.
All four booking types in time order with names, party size, notes and occasion flags. Check in, mark a no-show, log a walk-in, block a date, pause bookings.
Founding cohort · fifteen slots
The first fifteen cafés in Bengaluru carry a permanent Founding Café badge, rank above non-founding cafés in equivalent feed positions for the first year, and keep founding rates locked at founding level forever. We launch with them already live and posting — an empty app kills you on day one.
One standing dine-in offer, a table card in the café, and one post a week. That is the whole deal. No fee, no commission, no contract, no cut of your discount.
What we charge
A café asked to pay for footfall that does not exist yet will say no, and it will be right to. Months nought to six are free — no commission, no subscription, no fees of any kind. After that we charge only on business we can point at, never on your total revenue.
Table reservation
Charged on check-in only. A no-show costs you nothing.
₹15–25 per seated cover
Event ticket
Against 15–20% on comparable platforms.
8% of ticket value
Space hire
The high-value line.
5% of booking value
Work slot
And the slot fee is redeemable by the customer against F&B.
15% of the slot fee
Promoted placement
Optional, and clearly labelled as promoted.
₹500–2,000 a week
Subscription
Cafés who join later pay ₹999–1,999 a month.
₹0 for founding cafés, permanently
Billing tables, the commission ledger and check-in-triggered charging are built now and sit behind a per-café flag, defaulted off. Retrofitting attribution into a live system is the painful version.
Deliberately not in v1
Every one of these is a thing a café has been burned by, or a thing that would take a year we do not have.
If you run one — or drink at one that deserves this — the fastest way in is an email. We are picking the cohort by hand.
